The mission of the BC Blueberry Council is to enhance the viability and strategic development of the blueberry industry through promotion, research, industry education and relationship building.

The Council supports 600+ members in its work, collaborating with growers, packers and processors to expand market opportunities for BC blueberries in Canada and abroad.

Our members cultivate 11,000 hectares of the richest fertile farmland- nestled between the Pacific Ocean and the coastal mountains. Year by year, producers grow an average of 170 million pounds, making BC blueberries Canada’s number one small fruit export.

Delicious BC blueberries can be bought fresh in July through until the beginning of September and are available frozen year-round.
